Pharmacy has a very strong teaching staff, among which 50 percent possess senior academic titles. The department is well equipped with full and advanced facilities including high-performance liquid chromatographic analyzer, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, intelligent disintegrator, intelligent solubility meter, rotary evaporometer, etc.

The faculty of Medical Inspection is also very strong. Among 17 teachers of the department, 8 are professors and associate professors. It has the first-class teaching facilities and instruments with five lab centres covering every branch of this speciality and over 40 off-campus practice bases.

Medical Imaging has 12 teachers, more than half of whom are of senior professional titles and many of whom are invited to be chief-editors, deputy chief-editors and editors of the textbooks published by the Ministries of Education Department and Health. The speciality of medical imaging was designated as a key course supported by Zhejiang Province in May of 2001.

Preventive Medicine owns good resources of teaching staff, 60 percent of whom have been conferred senior professional titles, and it also has large number of advanced instruments, in-school practice bases, lab centres, over 40 teaching hospitals, 18 preventive epidemic-disease centres and health supervision organizations for students to conduct medical practice.

Among the teachers of Information Control of Medicine and Pharmacy, more than half of them are master's degree holders. This speciality owns a multifunction lab combining teaching, research and medical information service. Much attention has been given to the training of the students' abilities of practical operation so as to meet the need of the society.

The teachers of Clinical Medicine always give the clinical practice the first place. 60 percent of them are both medical doctors and instructors as well. Six famous medical experts from Medical College of Zhejiang University and provincial hospitals have been invited to be members of its academic committee. The department is also fully equipped with advanced teaching facilities.

Oral Prosthetics has the high-qualified teachers.Professorsfrom Waseda University in Japan are regularly invited to give demonstration lectures. With advanced and complete facilities this speciality pays full attention to the training of senior profession workers, practical and applicable talents, and doctors with skillful techniques. 

There are 16 teachers in Nursing speciality and many famous nursing experts have been invited to be the members of nursing guidance committee and professors of Zhejiang Medical College as well. This speciality has a fully equipped nursing lab, practice room, language lab, multi-media room and computer room. The speciality is carrying out a joint educational program with New England University in Australia.
